5 Ways to Recreate a Vacation at Home

Is it just us or are the winter blues hitting particularly hard this week? Lately we've been finding ourselves dreaming of sunny vacations, warm weather and sandy beaches during our weekly calls and mood boarding sessions. Since none of those things seem to be on the horizon for us any time soon, we've taken to finding other ways of bringing the blissful spirit of a luxury vacation into our homes. With that in mind, here's five ways we've been conjuring up vacation-vibes at home.

1. Airplane Mode

Part of the reason that vacation downtime is so relaxing is because it's distinctive time we allocate ourselves to just do nothing. Enjoying a good book or riveting podcast by the beach is certainly a luxury, but remember that just giving yourself some tech-free time each week has a similar effect on the mind, allowing you to focus on you and your relaxation. Put your phone on airplane mode for a couple hours each week during your usual 'you-time' so you can fully concentrate on yourself. 2. Get Comfy

Put away your heavy knits for a day and slip into your most luxurious loungewear or pajamas. 4. Pamper Yourself

Being outdoors can decrease stress and anxiety levels naturally, whilst providing a fun and free activity for your body and brain.
